Together, we are closing the Swiss plastics cycle sustainably.

Our brand - InnoWay
InnoWay is the Swiss recycling brand for plastics and unites the companies InnoRecycling AG, InnoSort, InnoPlastics AG and the Bring Plastic Back collection system under one roof.

Collection

Plastic products in general and packaging in particular have a short lifespan - just a few weeks from production to disposal. As plastic is a valuable raw material, it should not simply be incinerated. Plastics can be recycled several times through targeted collection, sorting and further processing. The collection and procurement of plastic waste is therefore at the beginning of our InnoWay.

InnoRecycling AG's Bring Plastic Back system has been collecting household packaging and other used plastics for over 10 years: today in over 600 Swiss municipalities and in many commercial and industrial companies.

InnoSort

The final piece of the InnoWay closed loop puzzle is a modern sorting system - the InnoSort. The project is still in the planning phase. But what is clear is that a sorting plant for mixed plastic waste from households, industry and commerce is to be built in the immediate vicinity of InnoRecycling AG and InnoPlastics AG. The minimum quantity to be processed is 20,000 tons per year. However, the plant is to be designed for a capacity of 50,000 tons per year.

The first building application is scheduled for 2025. The planned investment volume is in the mid double-digit million range.

Plastic products

Mixed plastics of all kinds are processed on our InnoWay. These are short-lived plastic products from households, trade and industry that usually end up in incineration after a single use. These include films, bottles, pots, canisters, pipes and tubs of all kinds. These used plastics are given a second life via the InnoWay cycle. This conserves resources and saves greenhouse gases.

Regranulate

The end result of our recycling process is high-quality plastic regranulate made from polyethylene and polypropylene. These different types of recycled pellets are suitable for extrusion, blow extrusion or injection molding applications. The end of the InnoWay is therefore the beginning for new plastic products such as bottles, pipes or films.

The regranulate from the InnoWay cycle contains a great deal of innovation and know-how, which leads to tailor-made applications made from genuine Swiss recycled plastic - new products are created.
